Description [National Heritage Institute]: Gypsy bucket maker dressed in Roma-specific clothes: long-sleeved shirt, unbuttoned leather jacket, trousers, leather strap, hat. The photographed character is surprised to sit with his right-handed head restrained and the elbow in the left hand holding the hat. Workshop photo with painted wallpaper background. On the cardboard on which the photo is pasted are mentioned, at the bottom, the name of the photographer, on the left [Kamilla Asbóth] and the city where the workshop was activated, to the right [Hermannstadt (Sibiu)]. V: Brand of the 10-medallion photographic workshop and German brown writing text: (translation) “Atelier Kamilla Asbóth. The heir of Th. Glatz. Multiplied rights reserved. Additional information: Kamilla Asboth owned during 1873-1897 the photographic workshop in Sibiu, founded by his uncle Theodor Glatz in 1854 and subsequently taken over by Carl Koller in 1871. The workshop, located in Piaţa Mare, was acquired in 1897 by Emil Fischer.
